Cable vs DSL vs FIOSWhen upgrading from dialup many people do not know which broadband service to get. Here are some quick and dirty points to each one. Cable: Through Comcast, around $45/m, very fast, good if you download alot and/or play games online DSL: Through Verizon, around $25+/m, different speed packages available for more money, slow, get this if all you do is surf the web and email FIOS: Through Verizon, $30+/m, different speed packages available for more money, very fast, not available in MANY areas. Basically replacing their DSL service but it will take them a while to change all the lines over. |
